Dubbed a wordsmith by the legendary Tech N9ne, Marcanum X is no stranger to the microphone. A student of Hip Hop culture who was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, he demonstrates craftsmanship with sharp wordplay and technical lyricism that has been respected by some of Hip Hop's pioneers. In addition to those skills, he also has an arsenal of science fiction storytelling in his music that is relevant to society today.

He is a former member of the Hip Hop rapper-producer duo known as "Sons of Chaos" that released a 7-track EP called the "Pneumo EP" for short. On March 26, 2026, he released his first solo album called, "Quantum Chaotica." He was also a member of Team PunX, who released a compilation album known as "The Arrival" on October 1, 2014.

After taking a small hiatus to pursue college, Marcanum X returned to making new music after his song, "Everyone's a Rapper Now" was featured on Shade 45 SiriusXM radio.

Now he’s back with his most ambitious album yet — N.A.T.E. (Natural Ability To Emcee), featuring production from Marcanum X himself alongside Domingo, Johnny Slash, The White Shadow of Norway, and more. New singles, "Give It Up" and "In Doctor Nate" are now streaming. The album is slated for a 2027 release.
