Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Marcanum X is an MC, producer, and composer known for his freestyle endurance and advanced lyricism and storytelling. In 2013, he released his debut album, Quantum Chaotica, establishing his voice in independent hip hop.

After earning his Bachelor’s Degree, Marcanum X returned to music in 2018, landing a feature on Shade 45 the same year. In 2022, he entered the national spotlight as a top-10 contender in the Anno Domini Nation competition judged by Tech N9ne, who personally called him “crazy with the word play.”

Now he’s back with his most ambitious album yet — N.A.T.E. (Natural Ability To Emcee), featuring production from Marcanum X himself alongside Domingo, Johnny Slash, The White Shadow of Norway, and more. The first single, “Give It Up” featuring King Magnetic and produced by Johnny Slash, drops May 8, 2026, followed by “In Doctor Nate,” the second single from the album, dropping in Summer 2026.
